MESSAGE FROM SIMPLY ANN
I have been where you are. If you are feeling like things aren’t going as fast as you would like or are feeling stuck, I am here to tell you that you can change that. I was once lost, going in a circle, confused, desperate, with no hope.
I used to entertain anything that came my way, so I could be occupied and not feel the ache and pains I carry deep in my soul. I used to be afraid, ashamed, and felt that I would never achieve anything good in life. My past was screaming at my face every time I tried to fit back into society. You see, people tend to be so cruel when they hear or may know something about you. They will make you feel that your mistakes, sins, and flaws are always worse than theirs. They would never commit such a terrible act. I used to feel that I would never be forgiven, and I would live a life at the mercy of whoever wished to extend me mercy. I deserve everything that is happening to me.
But all this self-sabotaging stopped one day. I remember waking up angry one morning. I was tired of my condition. It is only when we come to full understanding and acceptance that we need to change. We will never be able to step into our true purpose and become the best version of ourselves, so that God can be glorified.
My life is to be compared with the life of Jabez in the book of 1 Chronicles 4. My mother also gave birth to me in pain and shame. The Bible says that Jabez cried out. The Bible did not describe Jabez’s pain, frustration, humiliation, rejection, and all his attempts to fit into a society that only looked down on him and reminded him where he came from. But Jabez cried out and said, "God, if you can only bless me, let Your hand be with me, give me influence, and keep me from harm and pain.
From the time we are born, many will be educated to be a version of themselves that pleases others. Whether it comes from the way you were raised or how you were taught in school, we often learn to put a mask on and be actors in our lives.
Unfortunately, that behavior will not lead you to be happy and live a fulfilling life. You can discover the best version of yourself and transform your life so that you are no longer an actor in it. Choose to live the life that was made for you.
You can also make that change.
It is your turn!
